Last Friday we took James to the pumpkin patch! It was such a fun experience! James seemed thoroughly interested in all of the sights and sounds at the patch. We have been reading 'The Itsy Bitsy Pumpkin' a lot lately, and I've been talking to him about pumpkins and picking pumpkins at the pumpkin patch. So it was really fun to take him and to show him real life pumpkins!
Gunner was such a good boy and waited in the back of the truck for us. He loves James! It is the sweetest thing ever. When James cries, Gunner runs over and sits by him and seems so concerned. He always kisses James' feet and head, and tries to kiss his hands and face but we don't let him. He's a good good dog...the very best dog ever.
Anyways, we each picked a pumpkin (Ben's is more of a squash or something haha) and James's is an itsy bitsy pumpkin like in the book! I can't wait to continue having fun new experiences with James! It is so amazing to see him taking in the world and experiencing new things for the first time. I'm really looking forward to all of the holidays with him!
Have a great day!
