Wild Eats: Valentine's Day Fruit Salad

Valentine's Day treats are the best! Cookies, brownies, cupcakes, donuts... all covered in beautiful red and pink sprinkles! So hard to resist! Usually, I love to bake tasty cookies or brownies for Valentine's Day, but this year I decided to find something a bit healthier to try! I found this fun idea on Pinterest and decided that this would be the perfect snack for Ben and I to enjoy! It's super simple, healthy, and tasty! 

Here's What You Need: 

1 Grapefruit

1 Orange

2 Kiwis

A heart shaped cookie cutter

A small paring knife

Here's What You Do:

Slice the grapefruit, orange, and kiwis into thin slices. Take your heart shaped cookie cutter and use it to cut heart shapes out of each slice of orange and of grapefruit. Then, take your small paring knife and cut hearts out of each slice of kiwi (if you have a tiny heart shaped cookie cutter, you can use this on the kiwis instead of cutting out heart shapes by hand!). Voila! That's it! Super simple, super beautiful, and super yummy! These fruity hearts are the perfect, healthy alternative to all of those sugary baked treats. Let me know if you try this out!
