Spring Style Formula

Top: Tobi (courtesy of)// Shorts: oneteaspoon // Sandals: Sole Society // Bag: My own, but I also love this and this

Despite the fact that these pictures were taken in between downpours of rain, Spring is, in fact here! That means that it is time for some new wardrobe staples!

This Spring, you need an off-the-shoulder top, a good pair of shorts, a pair of sandals, and a big, colorful tote for all of your warm-weather adventures.

These pieces are an easy formula for a stylish and effortlessly cool Spring-time look. Mix and match different tops, shorts, bags, and shoes for a fashionable and seasonally appropriate outfit. Below are a few pieces that I am loving right now. You can shop each piece by clicking the photo.

Little Blue Sun Dress

Dress: Tobi (courtesy of) // Shoes: No longer available, but I love these and these // Bag: Kate Spade, also love this and this

You guys! I have found THE dress. Seriously - if you only buy one dress for Spring...I would highly recommend making it this one.

It's the prettiest light blue color, has the BEST white pom pom detail around the bottom, ruffle-y sleeves, comfy light-weight fabric, can be dressed up or down... it's so cute.

It's still pretty rainy and grey around here, but I know that sunshine is going to be here any day now! And when it arrives, I'll be waiting. In this dress.

Chunky Knits

Sweater: H&M (Only $19.99!!) // Boots: Target // Jeans: 7 For All Mankind // Bag: Kate Spade

There is nothing I love more than a big chunky, knit sweater. Make it a turtleneck and it's even better. There is just something so cozy about knitwear, isn't there? I'm loving the oversized slouchy look that is going on in the fashion world right now. This sweater from H&M is so comfortable, has that big knit look, AND it has a slouchy win win. Oh, AND IT'S ONLY $19.99 ... yes, you read that correctly.

When I saw the price I was a little hesitant because I was wondering what the quality would be like. But I was VERY pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It's very soft and well-made and I am massively in love with it! It is just the perfect piece for Fall and Winter. You can pair it with black jeans for a dressed up, office-casual look, or with blue jeans for a more laid back vibe. You can also pair this with a suede skirt and white sneakers (I love this skirt and these sneakers).

I will be wearing this sweater OFTEN in the months to come because it is just so comfortable and SO cute. It's got that effortless vibe, you know?

Have a great day!
